The committees and Board tackled their respective agenda’s with a variety of topics.
9 October: open Labelexpo Forum meeting, DoubleTree Amsterdam
The open meeting (held on the occasion of the regular FINAT Board and Committee meetings) was organised to allow exhibitor members of FINAT the opportunity to provide feedback about the recently held edition of Labelexpo Europe in Brussels, as input for the upcoming evaluation meeting between FINAT and Tarsus’ representatives on the Labelexpo Advisory Board at the beginning of November.
In the week prior to this meeting, parallel on-line surveys had been launched among visitors/converter members and exhibitors/supplier members to collect input. The survey received 107 responses
(45 converters, 62 suppliers).
A summary of the outcome of the survey can be found on the members-only section of the FINAT website. In short, the general mood at the exhibition was deemed very positive and exhibitors were convinced that this positive perspective would reflect on the general label industry business climate.
