With “Embrace change, enjoy success” being the leading theme of the joint 2011 FINAT/GIPEA congress, we are proud to inform you about the launch of the new FINAT website. With this new 2.0 online presence we do indeed “embrace change” with the ambition to “enjoy success”.
FINAT’s slogan “Linking the label community” embodies the fundamental thought behind - and the essential spirit of- FINAT: bringing professionals in the entire international label industry together, to support information exchange, education and networking, hence contributing to the interest of the industry and its clients. We have been linking people in this industry through our association for over 50 years, creating an increasingly strong global network of dedicated professionals.
Today is the moment to take the next step and leap forward towards a strong permanent online network as an extended advantage of your FINAT membership. From June 9th 2011, the day of the launch of the new FINAT website during the AGM, and on the new FINAT. com website is the single online location where “everything and everyone” in the international label industry comes together.
• The website serves as the virtual FINAT home, available for everyone interested in our activities, our contributions and innovations to clients and consumers and our views on industry topics.
• The member only area (the FINAT community) serves as a 24/7 network area, where all members can connect, exchange experiences and ideas, and work together to support the
development of the international label industry and its individual members.
• Integrated within the FINAT.com members area you will also find the former “knowledge hub” which was hosted on a separate domain.
We believe that members will benefit from this “single location” approach where all information regarding FINAT and the label industry unites.
When visiting the new FINAT website from June 9th on, one will be shown the new home page with a clean and modern
”web 2.0” look and feel. Visitors may access a variety of information types immediately from the home page, thus serving both the first time or irregular visitor, our members and frequent industry contacts like the international trade press. Priority placing has been given to features like news and convent- ions, direct search features to find members or perform keyword searches, and to our integrated links on social media like Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. Further access is available from the top level navigation bar, offering a logical path to all different types of content.
