HM: FINAT: Permapack AG, Switzerland for “Crème d’or Special 750ml”
The illustrations of the ice cream ball and the three nuts are very realistic giving an almost 3D effect. The printing is excellent with a nice balance between the yellowish background and the blue logo area. The halftones are well defined and the vignettes smooth and progressive. Printed in 5 colours this is a good example of a label to be used for in-mould applications.

Winner: FINAT: Stratus Packaging, France for “Marquise Blanc Magnolia”
This wine label has a really delicate appearance with the use of a subtle grey background with a reversed out image of a lady of class from the past centuries. The illustration of the centre of a magnolia flower head adds a balance of colour and is well printed with good halftones and smooth vignettes. The introduction of a hot foil strip adds a little bit of class to the label.
