• FINAT Young Managers Club: bringing together the future leaders of this industry
FINAT’s Young Managers Club is chaired by Francesc Egea from IPE Innovaciones (E), who is also FINAT’s main Board liaison with the Spanish association ANFEC. He comments: “The printing industry, and therefore also the industry of self-adhesive labels, is experiencing a period of great change. Technology changes fast, and so do relationships with customers and suppliers. New ways of doing business, of managing companies and establishing new partnerships with all players in the market are the key points with which we will all have to deal in the future. Many companies in our industry are family owned, which is an extra challenge for the immediate future. FINAT´s YMC is addressing these hot topics in the programmes of all the
seminars and events they organise. At the Technical Seminar in Barcelona this spring, we organised a mini- seminar about effective communication and how to rethink yourself and your day-to-day work. The most important event on our calendar this year is the global Young Managers Congress, which will be held in Berlin from 28-30 November. “Young Managers, let’s challenge the future!” will be a unique opportunity for all young managers from the industry, throughout the world, to meet and benefit from an excellent programme which deals with important topics.
• The Sustainability and Recycling Committee: a cross-functional platform addressing one of the major challenges to our industry

It currently therefore brings together representatives from leading material companies and is managed by FINAT’s project manager Mark Macaré. It mainly exists to stimulate the industry and its associations in making new inroads and identifying alternative strategies for the management of secondary materials from our industry and its customers. The team also focuses on widening the availability of recycling alternatives. The Recycling Project Group focuses on two key objectives: to raise awareness about existing and new recycling initiatives, and to stimulate
